Motor Racing Pact
A British-German combination of famous racing car drivers in German cars may materially affect the results of many ot the great races for standard sports ears this year. Xcgot ialions arc now in progress between Captain Malcolm Campbell, Earl Howe and Herr Rudolph Carraciola. the German racing driver, l'or a team of Mercedes-Benz cars to be entered in many of the year’s big road races. Last year a Mercedes piloted by Carraciola won the R.A.C. Tourist Trophy race in Ulster. This year the Mercedes Company announced that it did not propose to enter any of its cars for races, but anyone could buy them and enter them. Earl I-lowe and Captain Malcolm Campbell have both bought cars of this type, and Earl Howe owns tho car that won in Ulster last year.
