Schools’ Dental Clinic

KIWITEA AND KIMBOLTON SCHOOLS. Efforts havo been made for some tvmo past, to include children from the Kiwit'cia and Kimbolton schools in the Pei Idling Schools Eicmtal Clinic. The difficulty in the way is that the nurse cannot give proper supervision to the teeth of more than 1000 children. The following letter has been received from the Director of Dental Hygiene: — “All examination of the figures already in the group shows that it will n.ot bo possible to include any more schools. There are now twelve schools ■m the group with a total of school roll of 10S7. When these are all being treated up to the fourth standard they •will provide approximately 900 children, a number which is already in excess of the normal quota for one dental nurse. Tho inclusion of further schools could only result in disorganisation of tho treatment of the children in the schools that are now in the group.”
