Serious Accident in Hunting Field
WAIPUKfJRAU FARMER INJURED. Per Press Association. WAIPUKUEAU, Aug. 1. A serious accident bcfcl Mr Alfred William Parsons, of Waipukurau, when hunting with the Hawke’s Bay Club atTikokino. Mr Parsons was rilling the champion horse Comet. When taking a double fence the horse landed on the top, and then fell heavily. Mr Parsons was thrown, sustaining fractured ribs, concussion and severe shock. The hoise was badly injured and may have to be destroyed.
