Bridal Gown of Apricot and Pink

JARRET—BOOTE. A wedding of interest to the residents of Tokomaru and surrounding districts was celebrated at Dnnnevirkc recently, when Sydney Arthur, youngest son of Mr and Mrs. S. Jarrett, of Feilding, was married to Catherine Agnes (Elate), elder daughter of Mr and Mrs. A. Boote, of Tokomaru. The bride, who entered the church escorted by her father, wore a dainty frock of pale apricot over pink georgette with diamante trimming and a soft felt hat to tone. She rarried a sfliowelr .bouquet of pink and cream roses, with asparagus and maidenhair fer, and streamers to match her frock. The chief bridesmaid was Miss Rita a pretty frock of powder bine satin beautc, finished with diamante buckle. Miss Jean B'oote, of Tokomaru, sister of the bride, was the other bridesmaid, and chose a sweet frock of applcgreeu georgette with diamante trimmings. They wore on their heads bands and bows of tulle to match their frocks, and carried bouquets of roses, spring flowers and maidenhair fern. Silver shoes and stockings completed their toilets . Tho bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr Fred. Jarrett, of Feildiug, as best man, and Mr Eric Cresswell, of Wanganui, was groomsman. On leaving the church, the bride was presented with a silver horse shoo, as an emblem of good luck, by little Miss Vera Jarrett. After the ceremony a reception was hell at the residence of Mr and Mrs. C. Lcathcrland, where the usual toasts were honoured. The happy couple left later amid showers of confetti on their honeymoon trip. Their future home will bo in Dannevirke.
