Gaiety Does Help
Gaiety does help. Yet many women spoil the appearance of their rooms at meal-times by having ugly crockery, for which there is no excuse when one can buy warmly coloured sets so cheaply. These also add tremendously to the look of the room if you can display them on a Dutch dresser when they arc not in use. If you have a good deal of dark wood in the room, imagine the joy of an old-rose tea set, for instance, or of an orange one, if your room is rather sombre. The same applies to glass. Softly tinted green or blue drinking vessels with a matching water ju n * look indescribably lovely. Don’t forget the kiddies when you buy new table enamel. It will last longer in thteir unsteady little hands, but at the some time it'looks very colourful.
