New Landing Device For Aeroplanes
Telegraph.—Copyright. United Press Association. —By Electric Received Sunday 7.0 p.m. PARIS, March 16. The aviator Lemoigne has successfully demonstrated a new landing gear in which the usual wheels arc supplanted by a caterpillar belt on rollers fitted with air brakes controlled from the cockpit. It is designed to minimise the dangers of a rough landing.
