Mrs A. L. Falls, of Napier, is visiting Palmerston North. Miss Gwenda MoHardy, of Hawke’s Bay, is at present in Palmerston North. Mrs. Wally Robinson, of Pahiatua, has been the guest of Mrs. F. Field, Treutham. Miss Alderson, of Palmerston North, is visiting her sister, Mrs F. Carpenter, of Wanganui. Mrs. Nelson is a Pahiatua visitor to Wanganui, and is the guest of Mrs. H. V. Hammond. Mr and Mrs John Graham, with Mr and Mrs E. Fair, of Feilding, are visitors to New Plymouth. Mr and Mrs A. Grigor, and family of Fitehctt street, Palmerston North, spent the week-end in Hastings. Miss A. Beale, of Adelaide, is staying with Mrs J. Walt chain, of Cbelwood street, Palmerston North. Miss M. Kime, who has been the guest of Mrs Candy, o-f Palmerston North, has returned to her home in Taranaki.
Miss Esme Vincent, of Milverton avenue, who has been spending a short holiday in Napier, returned to her home on Sartlrday. Mr and Mrs. Hugh Akers, of Palerston North, accompanied by Misses May and Joyce Akers, have left for Christchurch. They intend visiting Milford Sounds, Dunedin and# the Bluff. In a letter to a Wellington, friend, Miss Mildred Nelson (Woodville and Palmerston North) tells of her great luck in seeking and obtaining an interview with Mr Chariot, of * ‘ Chariot’s Review," on her second. day in Londan. Not only did ho promise her a part in his new review which opens in a West End theatre in April, but he personally arranged for hoT.to take lessons in singing and dancing, which will be under his supervision. Miss Nelson gained experience with Pavlova in Australia,- and says that she is quite sure she was born under a lucky stars
