Opening Dance
A most enjoyable dance was given by Tußm Gwenath. MaoNaughton at her studio in Cuba street on Saturday evening in honour of the opening of her classes in Palmerston North. A great number of the younger set were present iw& a most enjoyable evening was spent by all in the execution of the latest ballroom, dancing. Miss MacNaughton in a dainty gown of silver lame and lemon georgette. delighted her guests with an exhibition of the latest steps in varsity drag, breakaway, ote. 'Z : . Those present were:, Mrs D. Oliver (blush rose chiffon velvet), R. Sapwell, (blue taffetas and lace), G. Bropby (rainbow mill ninon), M. BagnaJl (black ring velvet), G. Scott (almond green satin and lace), May (three-tiered frock of cherry satin), Edgar (red georgette), Messrs J. Greig '(Wellington), Trevor Louisson), Neil Forbes, Ivan Garner (Wellington), J. O’Shea, G. Cameron, W. Cameron, H. Palmer, G. Champion (Wellington), R. Kells, OUiver (2).
