Motor Cycle Club
ORION COMMITTEE. A committee meeting of the Orion Motor-Cyvle Club was held on Tuesday evening. Mr W. Miller presided and there was a full attendance. A report of the trial. to Southern Hawke’s Bay for the Bai Cup was received. Find! arrangements rvere made for the next picnic to be held on February 23 and it was decided to extend an invitation to all motor-cyclists to attend these gatherings. It was unanimously decided that the next gathering bo held at Bulls Domain and several new novelty events were arranged. The question of a club room was discussed and it was decided to. hold this matter over until the next general
meeting of the club. A vote of sympathy was passed to one of the members, Mr Boddell, who was injured recently and is an inmate of the hospital. A handsome cup, valued at 30 guineas, was officially handed to the club by a number of members who had subscribed to provide it. The cup is to be known as the Orion Challenge Cup and conditions are to be framed later.
