Id Deposits amounting to £200,000, th® savings of hard-working but gullible people, who were influenced by Communist propaganda, aro reported to b 6 missing from the Workers’ and Peasants’ Bank, an institution founded in Paris by Bolshevist leaders, ostensibly to prevent the workers being fleeced by capitalistic bankers. A Magistrate and accountants, escorted by 150 police, visited the premises with the manager aud found only £540 cash. The bank has been charged with breaches of tho law. Many deposits were entered in tho names of Communist leaders and are alleged to b® fictious. _
