SILVER FURNISHINGS
Silver costume jewellery, so long neglected, will be worn for early spring, both in all-silver pieces and in the many smart combinations w T ith semiprecious stones. A dull finish is smartish. It is a welcome change from the gold note and very good with blues, greens and grays. Watch it! That interesting composition called “prysal,” which is. like pyroxylin, only clearer and not brittle, is gaining in importance, being used in accessories, such as pins or fobs. By-symmetric balance has become a costume jewellery classic, so long has it been tho rule. Now a now note enters in the form of “lop-sides” pieces with tho design interest centred to ono side, generally the left, very modern in feeling.
