MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS. The management committee of the Manawatu Football association met last evening, Mr. J. C. Young presiding. Also present were: Messrs. T. R. Lees, It. Kempson, J. H. Dick, J. Jcnkinson, J. Marshall and F. J. Fox (secretary) . The South Auckland Football association wrote with reference to Manawatu’s invitation to visit Palmerston North and play for the Browne Shield. It was regretted that tho South Auckland representative programme was at present fully mapped out but when scheduled games had been played, Manawatu’s offer would be favourably considered. It was decided to forward an entry for the Browne Shield under the conditions previously laid down. A letter was received from the Auckland junior management committee with reference to the forthcoming secondary school tournament in Auckland. Mr. Dick was instructed to mako inquiries as to the possibilities of getting a local team away. It was decided to play tho Chatham Cup game, R.S.A. v. St. Andrew’s, on July 13. The following fixtures for Saturday were approved:— Feilding v. Athletic, No. 1 North Street, Mr. J. H. Dick; R.S.A. v. Flock House at Flock House, Mr. W. A. Corry; St. Andrew’s v. Rangers, No. 2 North Street, Mr. J. Jenkinson.
