REPRESENTATIVE OF FRYS AND CADBURY LTD. VISITS PALMERSTON
At the invitation of the Mayor (Mr. A. J. Graham), Mr. G. Sara, New Zealand representative of Pry’s and Cadbury Ltd., yesterday visited Palmerston North and conferred with the municipal authorities with regard to tho suitability of Palmerston North as u site for the company’s proposed New Zealand factory.
Rail and other transport facilities were discussed and information given Mr. Sara in connection with climatic! conditions, which are of considerable importance in chocolate manufacturing. Mr. Sara left later in tho day for Wanganui, where, it is understood, he will interview the municipal authorities and Chamber of Commerce in connection with tho proposed factory.
