NEW AORANGI BRIDGE
PUBLIC WORKS MAY CONSTRUCT. It is understood that there is a possibility of the Public Works department undertaking the work of building the new Aorangi bridge. Everything i-i now in readiness for the work and it was expected that tenders would be called for the job. Rumour now has it that the department might take it should not- be long before someone makes a start to replace the existing shaky structure with a substantial bridge.
