Tho weather throughout Juno has been consistently cold, owing to westerlies traversing the highlands and spiking over tho snowclad mountains into the coastal regions. The temperature in tho city this morning was 39.7 peg. Fall, tho lowest ‘ recorded since June, 192 L Frosts are reported at Parramatta and other suburban districts. Snow is lying on various places on tho highlands. * .... The State meteorologist anticipates yet lower temperatures, though the winds locally have moderated. Tho weather in the Tasman has grown worse and strong southerlies. and high sea 3 are sweeping Bass Straits. Tho steamers Marama and Mahcno, from Now Zealand, wirelessed that they would not arrive till lato to-night.
