In replying to a deputation from Ashburton, also one from Christchurch, asking for official recognition of a proposed aero club, the Hon. T. M. Wilford said he would visit Christchurch shortly and discuss the matter from the viewpoint of one big club for the whole district, as had been done in Hawke’s Bay. The Minister visited Porirua yesterday to inspect a possible landing area fox seaplanes.
