LIBEL VERDICT STANDS. / Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Mr Justice Ostler delivered judgment in tho appeal ease, the Samoan Guardian and William l’arr (editor) v* Judge McCarthy, of Apia. The appeal was from the decision of the High Court of Western Samoa, awarding McCarthy £IOO damages for libel. Tho appeal was. dismissed.
