LEAGUE TRANSFERS. United Press Association—By Electrie Tolcgraph—Copyright. Received Monday 7 p.m. LONDON, May 5. The Soccer season has finished with Sheffield Wednesday club champions witii 52 points. Leicester City was second with 50. Bury and Cardiff with 31 and 29 points respectively, were relegated to the second division. Middlesbrough and Grimsby with 55 and 53 points in the second division, have been promoted. Portvale and Clapton Orient, respectively with 34 and 32 points, have been relegated from the second to the third division.
In the Southern section of the latter, Charlton and Crystal Palace headed the list with 50 points each but tho championship goes to the former, which had a better goal average. In the northern division of League Three. Bradford City is top with 63 points and along with Charlton, is promoted to League Two.
