BODIES OF ANDERSON AND HITCHCOCK TO BE BROUGHT TO SYDNEY

The ‘Federal authorities are com' picting plans for the removal of the bodies of Lieutenant Anderson and Mr Hitchcock and for sending the remains for burial in accordance with tho wishes of the relatives. This is expcPtod to take some time, owing to the lack of water and the rough nature of the country. The Air Force machines were withdrawn yesterday, as they are in need of an overhaul. Other machines are being sent for tho purpose of guiding the land party which will bo despatched to recover the bodies. A base will be established, 40 miles from the spot and the party sent out on camels. The bodies will be taken either to Darwin or to Wyiidham and placed on a steamer.
