LANCASHIRE SPINNING MILLS TO CLOSE DOWN

The Federation of Master Cotton Spinners Associations at Manchester has decided to close down all mills on May 18 until the end of the cardroom operatives’ strike at Alma Mills, Oldhum. thus affecting 200,000 operatives and 560 mills.
