SATURDAY’S MATCHES The Fcilding Hockey competitions wero continued on Saturday in ideal weather. The grounds were in excellent order and there were a large number of spectators. Following wero the results: — Ladies. Carnarvon defeated High School Old Girls 4 nil; Hinckoa defeated Kia Ora S nil. Men. Stanway defeated Colyton 4-nil; Bcaconsfield defeated Pirates 11-nil; Carnarvon' defeated Wanderers 5-nil.
