FARMERS’ UNION MUST WATCH 1928 COMMITTEE
“We are up against something very big in the machinations of the 1928 Committee,” said Mr 0. P. Lynch, president of the executive of the Manawatu branch of the N.Z, Farmers’ Union at the annual meeting on Saturday. “That body is in the nature of a secret committee—otherwise w'hy are the names of the members not published? .It is purely a body acting for the commercial interests and not for the primary producer. It appears to me to contain a number of the men who are fattening and battening on the exporters.”
