LIPTON BUILDING FIFTH SHAMROCK
AMERICA CUP CHALLENGE,
Aust. Press Assn.—United Service. Received Monday, 2 a.m. LONDON, May 4. Sir Thomas Lipton, through the Royal Ulster Yacht Club, has challenged tho New York Yacht Club to race at the Sandy Hook course for the America cup, for which he is building his new yacht, “Shamrock V.” which must cross the Atlantic to compete. Sir Thomas despite his age, he is 79, keeps over-green like his emeraldpainted yacht. His greatest ambition is to regain tho America cup for Britain.
