From Our Own Correspondent. The local girls journeyed to Apiti on Wednesday afternoon to play the fust gemo for tho Rose Bowl, A very exciting and interesting game being witnessed by the many spectators. Rangb wahia were victor.mis, winning by 3 goals to nil. Goals were shot by Annie Boshicr (2) and Alice Boshier (1). Messrs Watcrson (Apiti) and Brown (Rangiwahia) had control of the game. After the match the visiters were entertained by the Apiti girls at a most delightful afternoon tea. The Rangiwahia team was as .-follows :—C. Meads, W. Rouchcr, A. Ireland, A. Carey, E. Deihl, F. Hyde, M. Ireland, O. McCarthy, Annie Boshicr, B Rouchcr, Alice Boshier.
Personal. Mr. and Mrs C. A. Deihl /Turakina, Mrs Drummond, and Miss F. Bateman, Dannevirke, spent tho week-end with Mr and Mrs C. C. Deihl. Mr. F. Boshier, Wellington, is spending his holidays with his parents.
