YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB ANNUAL SHOW. It was announced at yesterday’s meeting of the Feilding Young Farmers’ club by the chairman (Mr. A. Campbell) that he had received a telegram from the Hon. G. J. Cobbe stating that he was endeavouring to get two aeroplanes to be present at the show, to give demonstrations. The chairman said he understood that Major Wilkes was to inspect the High School ground, to investigate its possibilities as a landing ground. As iar as ho knew, the ground had not been inspected but Captain Burrell had seen it. However, he had informed Mr. Cobbe that there was no objection to the aeroplanes landing during the show. It would be an attraction to the show which is to be held at the I eilaing Agricultural High School on Friday next and the ’planes will arrive from Auckland during the day. If the "round is suitable the ’planes will land at rho school, otherwise they will alight at the polo ground. . In discussing the matter of making a charge for admission to the grounds in the event of the ’planes coming to the school ground, Mr. I'. Whisker thought that the club should make a nominal charge of Is. Of course if the ■planes did not come, there would be no charge for admission. It was agreed to make a charge ox Is for adults only.
