STEAMER FOR FOXTON
CONTINUING SOUTHERN TRADE. Messrs C. F. Millward and Co., of Wanganui, agents for the Canterbury Steamship company, have been advised by their head office that they arc placing a steamer in commission for the trade between southern ports and Foxton forthwith. Full particulars will be advertised later. Since the steamer Kennedy met with an unfortunate mishap on the bar sofflo months ago, Foxton has been practically without a continuous steamer service.
