THE TENDER SKIN
When the skin is sore from exposure to the wind or the sun and heat, after a day at the beach, or motoring, it is because we have not taken the trouble to prevent it. A lot of pain and inconvenience would be saved if holidaymakers made up this little lotion for themselves, and applied it freely before going out: Two parts of glycerine and cucumber lotion to one part almond oil. Shake well before using. It makes a good foundation for powder, especially when motoring. Another good thing to Temember is that glycerine added to a warm bath is delightfully refreshing. Mix two ounces with two quarts of water, add a little perfume and pour the mixture in. Glycerine is also excellent for perspiring feet. Gently rub them with it and then dust with boracic powder.
