"SALLY, IRENE AND MARY" - AT THE TIVOLI. A flume and two mollis might fittingly describe the feminine trio whoso lives and loves form the basic theme of "Sally, Irene and Mary." the new Edmund Golding production for Metro Goldwyn Mayer. Though all three are chorus girls of dazzling beauty and charm, the alluring worldliness of one acts as a magnet to the others, and they are drawn into a life or reckless gaiety. Strikingly unusual in its conception and production, this film bears a distinct touch of quality. It. is tilled with the gav humour, Urn hidden tragedy. and fleeting joys of glamorous theatrical life, faithfully and vividly portrayed by the excellent cast, which includes Sally O’Neill, William Haines, Joan Crawford and Constance lien nett. It was directed by Edmund Colliding. Ort Friday and Saturday there is to bo a double programme, a big special "The Claw," featuring Norman Kerry and Claire Y/indsor, and the "Sky Skidder," featuring A. L. Wilson.
