At a meeting of the management committee of the Manawatu Football Association it was decided to open the season on April 13. The English public schoolboys who are touring tho Dominion, and wero distributed on various farms in the Wairarapa and Hawke's Bay districts for a week's practical experience, reassembled at Palmerston North yesterday afternoon and proceeded to the race meeting at Awapuni. To-day they will visit Wanganui College, and in the evening will depart from Marton for Rotorua. The party will leave New Zealand on March 28 from Auckland.
