’PLANE LOST IN FOG
MISSES LIGHTHOUSE. FALLS IN CALAIS STREET. United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph —Copyright. PARIS, March 49. A British aeroplane on the way to Oslo lost its way in a fog over the Channel. The pilot suddenly found the Calais lighthouso looming up in front of him. Ho roso in order to avoid it, but thereby lost speed, and came down in one of the principal streets of Calais. The pilot, and both passengers were injured and taken to hospital. MOIR REACHES ROME. ROME, March 19. The airmen Moir and Owen have arrived from Marseilles, where they stopped the night, en route for Australia in their Vickers biplane. LATER. Moir and Owen have resumed their flight.
