PANTRY TEA AT MOUNT STEWART
On Monday afternoon at her home, “Bushydale,” Mt. Stewart, Mrs. .Reginald Eedmayne, in conjunction with , her sister, Mrs. Pat. Burrell, of Cheltenham, entertained the young friends of Miss Mavis Webster, Peilding, at a kitchen tea, in view of her approaching marriage. A “nursery rhyme” competition of which Miss Bee Dermer proved the winner, kept those present interested and amused and altogether a very bright and happy timo was spent. The most delectable of teas was servetj in the dining-iroom, where crimson African daisies! formed the effective decoration. Miss Webster was, during the afternoon, the recipient of a largo collection of most usefpl pantry requisites. Mts. Eedmayne received her guests in a picture frock fashioned with bodice of floral chiffon and skirt of narrow frills of ecru lace, Mrs. Burrell in a smart pleated frock of scrimp pink crepe-de-ehine finished with touches of black,: while Miss Webster was becomingly dressed in floral georgette in shades of Chinese blue and white, and black felt hat. Among those present were: Mrs. Eobert Burrell and the Misses P. Goodbehere, D. E. and B. Eliott, K. Johnston, P. and E. Conway, B. Dermer, P. and A. Cornfoot, A. Hare,- N. Pratt, J. and P. Harper, .T. Cornfoot, A. Phillips, W. Bousficld, M. Bailey and. D. Millar.
