DASH FROM BURNING HOUSE
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 19. Mr. and Mrs. von Sturmer, residing at Mount Eden road, were awakened at 2.45 a.m. to-day by crashes on the wall of their bedroom and shrieks oE lire from Mrs Hunt who slept in tho next room. They endeavoured to reach Mfs. Hunt but failed and had themselves to make a hurried exit. Meantime, Mrs. Hunt leaped from the window and escaped from tho flames raging in her bedroom. The brigade saved part of tho house which is owned by Mr. A. D. Seabrook and insured for £I3OO, the contents being insured for £250.
