WAGES TAX FOR THE UNEMPLOYED
EMPLOYERS TO PAY. United Press Association —By Electrie Telegraph —Copyright. Received Tuesday, 9.20 p.m. SYDNEY, Last Night. The Bavin Government to-day agreed to make an amendment in the Family Endowment Act by which a two per cent, tax will be imposed on wages paid by employers. The Prime Minister intends that the unemployed shall benefit by the scheme.
