From Our Own Correspondent. Mrs. Clarke, Palmerston North, spent the week-end as the guest of her sister, Mrs. W. H. Webb. Miss Phyllis Stokes has returned from Takapau where a most enjoyable holiday was spent with relatives. Miss Phyllis Connor, Karamca, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Gilmor. Miss Mavis Held is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. A. Morgan. Mr. and Mrs. T. Lomas and family spent part of the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. N. Kelly. On Friday evening a grand dance will be given by the County councicl employees. The music will’be supplied by the’ Maori Do Luxe string orchestra. Proceeds are being given to the sc 1 -v.d fund.
