PUBLIC SERVICE REPORT FORMS
COMMISSIONER’S REPLY TO COMPLAINTS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. While declining to withdraw the new annual report forms over which there has been so much controversy the Public Service Commissioner has advised the executive of the Public Service Association that in future the association will havo an opportunity of making representations before any form of report is issued. The Commissioner further states that ho will carefully, review the report of any officer adversely reported upon and if considered necessary he will give the officer concerned a further opportunity of making additional representations. Tho matter was again, considered at' the last meeting of the executive of tha Public Service Association when a proposal to wait on the Prime Ministei with his request that ho use -his authority to veto tho reports and hava them withdrawn was defeated. It was decided to bring the whole subject of annual reports before the next meeting and in 7 the meantime to ask tha various sections of the association foj their views.
