Mias Roma Jackson, Marton, is visiting her hime at Kopuaranga, Mirs. Borlaso, of Napier, is visiting Palmerston North. Mrs. Harry Palmer, Palmerston North is visiting Mrs. Frank Palmer, Riccarton, Christchurch. Miss McLagan, Batt Street, Palmerston North, is visiting friends in Wellington for a few days. Mrs. J. Teddy, of “Innisfallen,” Ohaupo, is spending a holiday in Palmerston North and Wellington. Mrs. F. E. Bennett, an Auckland visitor to Palmerston North ,returns home to-day. Mrs. M. E. Aagaarde, of Stratford, is spending a holiday at Bulls and Palmerston North. Miss Hyde, of New Plymouth, is the guost of her sister, Mrs. Curnow, of Palmerston North. Miss Dorothy Morse, of Auckland, who has been the guest of Mrs. Fannin, Fitzherbert Avenue, Palmerston North, returns home to-day. Miss Florence Matthews, of Mangapopa, Gisborne, is staying in Palmerston North as the guest of Mrs. J. Mounsey. Mrs Christian, assistant librarian, was granted one month’s leave of absence by the Palmerston North Borough council last evening, to enable her to recuperate from influenza attacks. Miss Lois Brook-Taylor, one of the young ladies injured in the recent motor accident at Longburn is reported by the hospital authorities to be making excellent progress. Her sister, Miss Audrey Brooke-Taylor, has already been discharged from the institution.
