SOUTHERN HAWKE’S BAY CROQUET CHAMPIONS
Per Press Association, DANNEVIRKE, Last Night. The Southern Hawke’s Bay championship croquet tournament was concluded to-day. The winners were:— Ladies’ championship singles: Miss A. Evans (Melbourne) defeated Mrs. Nyrnand (Dannevirke), 2—o. Southern Hawke’s Bay open championship: Miss J. Evans (Melbourne) defeated Mrs. Freedman (Napier), •2— l. Mixed championship doubles: Misses Evans (Melbourne) defeated Mesdames Glass and Nyrnand (Dannevirke) 2G—li.
