Mrs. Alfred Kidd, of Auckland, is on a visit to Palmerston North.
Mrs. H. Vogel, of England, has been the guest of Mrs. E. L. Levin, ‘ ‘ Westell a," Eeilding. Mrs. E. W. Eeed of Derby Street, Feilding, will leave on a holiday trip to England shortly. Nurse H. Burnett, who has been the guest of Mrs. Charters, of “Lcvuka” Hospital, Palmerston North, has returned to Napier. Mrs. E. L. Broad, of Tauranga, and Mrs. L. Griffiths, of Blenheim, are the guests of Mrs. E. G. Sim, of Grey street, Palmerston North. The wedding of Dr. Bettington and Miss Marion Lowry will take place at Hawke's Bay, states ‘The Home,” on April 11. Miss Enid Falk in er will journey to New Zealand to be one of the bridesmaids. Dr. Bettington’s brother will bo the best man, and Mr Leslie Hill, of Moreo, will be the groomsman. Mrs. A. P. F. Chapman, Miss Lowry’s sister, will also be present at the wedding before leaving on her return to England with her crick-oter-husband.
