SATUBDAY’S PLAY. The Manawatu croquet tournament was continued on. Saturday, results being as follows: — Championship singles, first round: Mrs Jamieson defeated Mr Sandford 26 —4. Second round: Mrs Jennings defeated Mrs T. Simpson 16 —8; Mrs Campbell defeated Mrs Kirk 26 —5. Championship singles B, first round: Mrs Badford defeated Mrs Mitcheson 26—14.
