Tho defendants in a statement to the Court, admitted that plaintiff had been injured but denied that he was still partially incapacitated as he had returned to work on April 24 and was paid full wages until his employment was terminated on August 6, 1925.

The Arbitration Court sitting in Palmerston North yesterday, granted an application by Mr. W. Loudon for recognition of an apprenticeship committee for tho electrical trade in the counties of Manawatu, Oroua, Horowhenun and Kairanga (with the interior borough of town districts) and the borough of Woodville. The committee will comprise Messrs. C. Hubbard, E. E. P. Wix, Wm. G. Ritchie, C. C. Aitkcn, S. J. King, and J. B. Williamson, all of Palmerston North. Mr. Loudon informed the Court that a committee as far away as Wellington was practically unworkable hence the desire for a local committee.
