TIDY TIPS
Tailored clothes must be cut with chic neatness and worn with tho same air. Here are two little gadgets used to that end by West End tailors. If your tailor omits them, they aro easily added at home. Coats with a real buttonhole in the levers should have a buttonhole loop on the wrong side of tho lapel, just below tho buttonhole.
Pass the stem of your flower posy—real or made in Paris—first through the buttonhole, then through the loop and it will stay put beautifully without any pins. Coat 3 That “Wrap.”
Wrap-over coats should have a tiny button on the left edge, in lino with tho waist. Take a piece of narrow tape to match tho coat-, fold it in half and tack tho loose ends to the lining, just under the armhole. Oversow the two bits of tape together to about half an inch from the folded end. Button the loop thus made to the- little button.
Adjust the tape from the armhole end till the coat sits perfectly, -then stitch that end down firmly. -This is quite the best way to keep a wrapover tidy.
