United Press Association —By Electril Telegraph—Copyright. Received Friday, 2 a.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 21. The Englishmen played a combined Western District team at Bathurst today. The wicket was slow, owing to recent rain and the sky overcast.. White captained the English side, which won tho toss and batted. Dr. Stack captained the Westerners, whose fielding was keen. England, in the first- innings made 317 (Ames 122, Tyldesley 50, Hobbs 13, Hendrcn 19, White 42). The Westerners lost their first five wickets for 13. Larwood secured three wickets off four balls and tho fourth in his second over. Stumps were then drawn. Bowling for the Westerners, Campbell took four for 98 and Stack, two for 52.
