TO-DAY’S RECIPE
SHORTBREAD BISCUITS. Ingredients: Mb. butter, lib. flour (S.R.), 41b. sugar, 3 eggs. Method: Beat butter and sugar to a cream, then add eggs one at a time, lastly sift in flour. Roll dough thinly, cut in shapes, and hake in fairly quick oven from 5 to 8 minutes, or till golden brown. When cold keep in airtight tin to preserve crispness.
