COURT MANAWATU The fortnightly meeting of Court Manawatu A.0.P., No. 5655, was held in the Foresters’ hall, Main street, on Monday night. Tho C.R. Bro. Dcnnan presided over an attendance of 100 members, including delegates from the visiting Courts. Members of the district executive were also present.

The presiding C.R. handed over his office to the P.D.C.R. Bro. Dunnett, who conducted the meeting for the rest oi the evening. The district secretary, Bro. Travoro, dwelt briefly on the fin ance of the district and matters appertaining to the welfare of the Court

in general. At tho conclusion of his duties, questions were asked and ail answered. A hearty vote of thanks was, carried by acclamation. The P.D.C.R. 80. Dunnett returned thanks on behalf of the district executive. An invitation was accepted from Court Woodville to attend the loth anniversary on February 27. Four candidates were initiated into the Court and Order. At the conclusion of the meeting the bretheren and sisters adjourned to supper to which full justice was done. Musical items were rendered by tho following:—Songs, Bro. M. Ilosanoski and W. Fabling; humorous item, Bro. Scott (Feilding); violin sool by Bro. Burnett. Bro. Bradley presided at tho piano.
