The Health department’s inspector in reporting to the Kiwitea County council yesterday, gave a clean bill of health for the months of December and January.
The traffic inspector of the Iviwitca County’ council has been chocking motorists in regard to motor drivers' licenses, for it has been known that some motorists in the county failed to renew their licenses last year. It was’ decided at yesterday’s meeting of the council to prosecute the defaulters. The following will represent the Kowhai Rcbekah lodge in the card tourney to-night for the Dick and Lindsay Cup: Sisters N. Fidlcr, Warn, Ghurcher Kcny’on, Abbott, Kodgcrs, flight, Malcolmson, Ellery, Bell and Newell (2). Dr and Mrs Cameron left Feilding on Tuesday for the medical conference in Wellington, after which they will spend several weeks touring and campping in the South Island, visiting Lake Canary’, Franz Josef glacier and other places of interest.
