Three brothers named Sass have beea arrested in connection with, the most during robbery ever committed ifi Germany. Thieves entered the Diseonto bank by a tunnel underneath one of the busiest streets in Berlin, broke the foundations and walls and carried off th,# contents of 180 customers’ safes.
Tho police associated the refinements of the robbery with the Sasses, wfc® recently served a sentence for a previous robbery. Tho trio continued to live quietly. They wero well dressed and appeared at various places of amusement but did not drink nor associate with others.
A sudden police raid revealed many suspicious tools and vast quantites eg jewellery.
