FIREBUG AT LARGE AT THAMES
BRIGADE KEPT ON THE RUN.
Per Press Association.
THAMES, Last Night.
What is an obvious case of incendiarism occurred when an attempt made to burn tho Central hall, Thames, was discovered yesterday evening. A fire had been lit under the building at the back, but had burnt out after charring a number of boards. The brigade has been turned out frequently recently to fires of suspicious origin and last night it was called out to an empty house in Hope road, which had apparently been set alight. The brigade saved the house but two firemen were temporarily overcome by smoke. .. , This morning the brigade was callou to yet another fire, this time to a garage in Beach road, but the outbreak was subdued easily. This was the sixth fire this month. The police are investigating.
