PALMERSTON SWIMMERS' SUCCESS AT DANNEVIRKE
ALL COMPETITORS PLACED.
JUDD WINS 100yds. INTERMEDIATE CHAMPIONSHIP.
A numbor of members of the Palmerston North Swimming Club journeyed to Dannovirko last evening and had a very successful trip, all tho competitors being placed. C. Judd won the Manawatu Centre 100yds. intermediate championship, while E. D. Hyde won the final of the men’s 50yds., and was second in tho final of ihe men’s 100yds. A. Skilton, It. Milverton and D. McDougall all gained places in the heats of the men’s 50yds. Miss E. Jones was first in the ladies’ 33 1-3 yards and was second in the ladies’ dive. I. Ilankin won the boys' dive and the relay team (C. Judd, A. Skilton, E. O. Hyde, D. McDougall) took the relay race.
Tho thanks of the Club are due to Mr. P. Robbie for again placing his car at tho disposal of the swimmers and for acting as manager.
