A NEW ZEPPELIN OF GREATER GIRTH

IMPROVEMENT ON GRAF. Times Cable. LONDON, Jan. 17. The Berlin correspondent of The Times states that the dismantling of 'the .Zeppelin sheds at Friedrichshafen, which are too small, was begun. A new Zeppelin, called LZI2B, will be about the same .length as tho Graf Zeppelin, but the maximum diameter will be increased by one-eighth, giving a cubic capacity of 150,000 cubic metres, compared with the Graf Zeppelin’s 105,000, thus approaching the size of the new British airships. The chief alteration relates to the engines, in accordance; with Captain Eckener’s dictum that greater power is needed. Tho control and "navigation cabins will be moved further astern, also lower, giving a full view astern, as the officers found that the Graf Zeppelin was deficient in this respect. The covering will be of lkaeu instead of cotton.
