FEILDING CRICKET
SATURDAY’S MATCHES. At Kowhai park on Saturday afternoon, the Bedding competitions were continued. On No. 1 wicket, Feilding batted first against Public Service ami ran up 88, Donaldson scoring 52 and .Sandford 28. With a team of two short, Public Service gained a lead of seven runs on the day’s play, McDonald (40; and Hight (80) being responsible fur the bulk of the runs. On No. 2 wicket, Old Boys met Colyton. Old Boys’ innings closed with 184, Dewo (00), and S. and L. Bramwell wo and 82, being thg chief scorers. At the close of play, Colyton had live wickets down for 00 runs.
